The primary competencies are: The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic, well-networked professional who ensures the company implements sales strategies to excel at client management and sales operations. The position requires a good general insight into the payment industry and the ability to optimize the salesforce infrastructure and to contribute to developing our growing customer base. The candidate must have a passion for building relationships with key clients and merchants, handle commercial engagements with business (corporate) clients, and ensure the timely finalization of projects, whilst upholding our company values. As a sales consultant you will need to manage your business prospects through the entire sales lifecycle, from lead generation to direct sale closure and onboarding new merchants. Existing experience in Business to Business (B2B) sales is crucial. Travel Allowance: Ease your commute and explore new horizons Commission: Based on transaction volumes of sales done on POS devices held by clients Leave: 15 workdays per annum (1.25 workdays per month) Workplace: Remote Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field OR recognised business related diploma • Proven experience in B2B sales within the fintech industry or banking sector. • Strong knowledge of financial technology solutions and trends. • Excellent communication and presentation skills. • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset. • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools. • Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport is a requirement for this role Duties&Responsibility Span: Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): • Relationship building • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and emerging trends in the fintech industry. • Identify key decision-makers within target organizations and establish relationships to generate sales leads. • Engage with clients to understand their business challenges and goals. • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value proposition of the fintech solutions. • Collaborate with the product development and technical teams to tailor fintech solutions to meet the unique requirements of clients. • Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and position the company’s products effectively. • Create and present compelling proposals, highlighting the benefits and ROI of the fintech solutions. • Work closely with the sales team to negotiate contracts and close deals. • Foster long-term relationships with clients by providing ongoing support and ensuring customer satisfaction. • Act as a trusted advisor, staying informed about industry trends and advising clients on how to leverage fintech solutions to achieve their business objectives. • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed revenue targets. • Continuously assess and refine sales strategies based on market feedback and performance metrics. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a seamless client experience. • Provide feedback from the field to contribute to the improvement of products and services. • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions using CRM tools. • Provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and market trends. • Reporting to the Senior Regional Sales Manager.
