DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Conduct physical condition inspections as per schedule to ensure optimal safety performance managementControl and manage the safety and hygiene of the workplace at the projectEnsure that the physical visibility of workers is according to the requirements and standards of the respective project/operating unit at which the project is performedConduct actual investigations (only damages, MTCs, FACs, near misses, and non-conformances) finalizing report and getting signoff and copies of associated docsCo-ordinate the Emergency drills and conduct Internal audit in respective areasACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:National Senior CertificateSAMTRAC or COMSOC 1 & 2National Diploma in Safety ManagementCertificate of training in OHSAS 18001 System Auditing or integrated internal auditing would be advantageousLegal liability and A2EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:At least 2 TO 5 years' experience as a Safety Officer in the mining environmentMust possess a valid driver's license (Code 8)Passport 360#J-18808-Ljbffr
