Responsibilities:Ensure compliance with all occupational health and safety (OHS) guidelines.Advise on safety measures and conduct regular risk assessments.Enforce preventive measures and safety protocols.Promote a culture of safety in the workplace.Provide training to employees on safety procedures and protocols.Investigate incidents and accidents to identify areas for improvement.Develop and implement safety policies and procedures.Maintain accurate records of safety-related activities.Collaborate with management to create and maintain a safe working environment.Stay up-to-date with industry-specific regulations and best practices.Qualifications and Requirements:Grade 12 or equivalent.Minimum of 3 years of working experience as a Health and Safety Officer in a construction and/or manufacturing environment.SAMTRACT or NEBOSH certification.SACPCMP registered.Fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing).Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and email.Availability to respond to Injury on Duty (IOD) incidents as required.Must have own transportation.Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00 to 15:30.How to Apply: If you meet the qualifications and are interested in this Health and Safety Officer position, please submit your resume to dvisser.promatchrec@outlook.comm#J-18808-Ljbffr
