We require a committed, hardworking and motivated individual to join our Security team as a Security Manager. The successful applicant will be responsible for the supervision of Security Supervisors and Security Officers. The Security Manager will be responsible for:- Management and posting of Security staff at all client sites- Ensure efficiency and productivity of Security Staff, including Security Site Managers, Supervisors and Officers- To ensure that security employees conduct is professional and above reproach in terms of behaviour, dress, service, etc.- See that company rules, procedures and policies are adhered to- Ensuring that discipline is enforced- Manage security contractors- Risk assessment- Ensure maintenance of security equipment- Liaising daily with management on various operational issues- Formulate disciplinary actions- Submitting relevant weekly / monthly incident and general reports to Management- Investigating incidents and reporting on suchOther personality attributes:- Assertiveness- Initiative- Strong leadership abilityWilling to work irregular hours and overtime. In good health and physical stature. Be trustworthy and honest. Ability to take responsibility- Grade 12- Security management- At least 10 years’ experience in the security industry.- At least 5 years’ experience in the Operational Security Management structure- Good communication skills (written & verbal)- A Grade PSIRA- Bilingual- Presentable- Flexi hours- To start as soon as possible- Valid Driver’s License required- Own Transport- Staff management experience is required.- Computer literacy with expert knowledge of the complete Microsoft package- No criminal record or any pending cases- Firearm competencies (Business purpose)
