They are looking for an Account Manager to join their Benoni (Gauteng) team.Job DescriptionResponsible for all new business sales activities, from lead generation to closing salesTogether with the Client Relationship Manager develops and implements a Sales and Marketing plan which will meet the goals of expanding the customer baseBe a brand ambassador and maintain the company imageManaging new client relationships from prospecting to account managementThorough understanding of all chemical and microbiological analyses carried out by the companyMain Duties & ResponsibilitiesClient RelationshipTargeting new business based on monthly market segments.Targeting new business based on industry changes, updates, and historical normsQuotations for new clientsAssisting clients with the completion of new client formsAssisting new clients with Finance information for Company procedures and policiesConfirmation with new clients, sample loggers, and laboratory for POs before logging and lab releasing of results. Resolving outstanding queriesFollow up with all new clients regarding their first-time interactions with the CompanyResolving any queries if complaints are raisedResolving all queries and customer complaints for new clientsMonthly follow up meetings with all new clientsReports to be populated for new VIP clients and to be discussed with senior representatives in monthly external meetingsSales ManagementSales of all laboratory servicesDevelops a market-segmented database of leads/prospective clientsDevelop a market-segmented database of existing clientsStay abreast of latest industry developmentsGain understanding of pricing and quotation system and LIMSFeedback to Managing Director and Senior managers on all matters affecting the departmentOptimizing efficiency and systemsCustomer ServiceSell consultatively to prospective clients and existing clientsAssist and guide new clients with the requirements of the account opening process and filling the request form to commence with analysis without delayProviding technical support to clients and facilitating their understanding of analysesBuild strong lasting relationships with customers, always going the extra mileAd HocComplete all reports on the sales drives as requested for various ad hoc markets targetedPerform any other reasonable tasks as requested by management from time to timeEducational RequirementsMatricN.
