The Retail Affluent cluster is responsible for Sanlam's retail business in South Africa. This cluster provides clients within the affluent market with a comprehensive range of appropriate and competitive financial solutions. These include traditional life insurance risk and savings products, investment, retirement, health and fiduciary services. What will you do? Core Tasks: Expense reporting which includes managing&review of Finance, CFO&CEO cost centres. Preparation of expense reports (e.g. IT costs, Functional costs) submitted to Group. Managing and review of sundry provisions&sundry debtors for SRA. Review of Sales, Volumes and Cash flow reporting. SRA retention&persistency reporting. Assisting with monthly VAT reviews and ad-hoc VAT queries. Review of SRA trial balance, co-ordinating the overall review of Balance sheet accounts for SRA. Budget reporting iro Volumes&fund flows, and Finance, CFO&CEO cost centres including budget submissions on HFM&loading expense budgets on SAP. Assisting with preparation of SRA Management and SRA Budget reports e.g. CFO reports, Budget presentation, Budget reports&Board documents. Quarterly stats submissions to ASISA. Interim&year end - account summaries for auditors; admin expense note (year-end), etc. Support and development of accounting solutions (e.g. SAP). What will make you successful in this role? Role Requirements: Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA). Experience : 2 - 3 years' experience in a financial reporting environment. Knowledge: Good technical accounting knowledge. Knowledge of Sanlam's financial reporting systems (Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)&SAP) will be an advantage.
