Minimum Requirements and Qualifications: Completed Matric Certificate Non-trade tested N2 certification, in either fitter or fitter and turner Minimum of 3-5 years practical experience in machine changeovers, setups, programming, and minor fault finding within the FMCG environment Must be available to work full shifts, including morning, afternoon, and night shifts, or adapt to future shift patterns as required Key Performance Areas: Reduce machine downtime and enhance machine performance, including fault finding and machine servicing Complete job cards and execute assigned scheduled maintenance tasks Maintenance support, including assisting fitters and overseeing repairs New equipment procurement, installation, and commissioning Propose changes to planned maintenance work and inspections as necessary Perform changeovers for tooling and machinery, including quick changeover initiatives (SMED) for efficient production transitions Maintain optimal availability of maintenance spares to support uninterrupted production Conduct regular housekeeping checks on machines and workshop Strictly adhere to workplace safety and quality procedures, including ISO9001 and NOSA Package&Remuneration The compensation package is negotiable and will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications, skills, and relevant working experience.
