What will you do? Manage Business Unit&Business Unit Performance. Manage Implementation of existing&new processes, services&procedures. Strategic Actions – Manage effective streamlining of processes. Manage Productivity, Quality&Work-related Problems. Manage Department Budget. Manage Staffing Process. Manage Individual Training&Development. Manage Individual Performance. Ensure accurate reporting. Resolution of queries on financial reports, control and authorisation accounts. Complaints investigation and resolution. Recommendations regarding exceptional claims decisions in collaboration with death claims consultants and management. Interaction with various departments in and outside of Business Shared Services. Ensure effective management of Service Level Agreements between BSS, NUB, Distribution, Actuarial, Re-insurers, internal doctors. Effective communication to respective role-players. Focused and motivated team. What will make you successful in this role? Qualifications: Grade 12 with Mathematics and/or Accountancy. 3 years Degree/ Diploma. Knowledge of the Individual Life Insurance processes and products. Knowledge of death claims processes will be advantageous. Leadership experience in managing a team of agents. Impact of legislation, e.g. FICA, Pension Funds Act.
