Our client is looking for a talented and energetic individual to join their dynamic team. The position will give the successful candidate wide ranging exposure to the investment and retirement industry. The successful candidate will report to and work closely with the Head of their Smoothed Bonus Centre of Excellence, assisting the team in meeting their objectives in terms of profitability and growth while driving innovation and client centricity.Responsibilities:Technical product support;Work closely with the business head to provide specialised proposals and client feedbackProvide technical product support to distribution teams (including competitor analysis)Preparation or checking of communication to clientsOver time, deliver presentations to existing clients and new business pitches to prospective clientsSolution development:Assist the team with the development and implementation of new solutions, including research and idea testing and enhancing existing solutionsAnalysis and information gathering:Document changes to existing business processes when relevant to implementationProvide effective and timeous management informationStakeholder Engagement:Consult and engage with key stakeholders including, actuarial, administration, product owners, investment specialists, intermediaries and clientsBuild and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clientsGeneral:Assist more senior staff requiring support and junior staff requiring assistance or guidanceAssist with mentoring actuarial graduatesQualification:Nearly qualified or recently qualified actuary with at least 5-7 years work experienceExperience:Prior experience in an investment, life insurance or employee benefits environment would be advantageousAdvanced experience in the Microsoft suite of applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)Personal qualities:Proactive and self-starterAbility to use initiative and work independentlyStrong problem solving and decision-making skillsExcellent planning and organizational skillsAbility to manage several different projects concurrently and deliver on all of themDemonstration of living the company’s values – being Collaboration, Care, Innovation and Integrity#J-18808-Ljbffr
