Support Services Co-ordinator ā€“ Atlantis - R18 500 to R22 500.00 (Provident Fund ā€“ after 6 months employment ā€“ Employer 8 % & Employee 7.5 %As a Support services coordinator in charge of Support Services at our Motorhome manufacturing factory, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our support functions. Your primary responsibilities will include analyzing and optimizing various support services to enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership: Lead and manage a team of support service staff, including, buying specialists, andadministrative staff. Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to ensure a high-performing team.Process Improvement: Evaluate and streamline support service processes, including internal inquiries,warranty claims, and parts requests. Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement, andimplement solutions to enhance service delivery.Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to collect, analyse, and interpret data gatheredfrom Syspro and other sources. Develop innovative systems and metrics to measure the effectiveness ofsupport services.Resource Management: Allocate resources efficiently to meet manufacturing demands while optimizingEnsure adequate staffing levels, equipment, and supplies to support service operations.Supplier Management: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials.Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favourable terms and pricing.Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure that support services meet the highestConduct regular audits and inspections to identify and rectify issues.Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports to senior management, highlighting key performancemetrics, achievements, and areas for improvement in support services.Compliance: Ensure that support operations comply with all relevant industry regulations and safetyQualificationsMinimum 5 years experience in a purchasing, buying role.Experience in a support services office.Proven experience in a team leadship role, preferably in a manufacturing or automotive industry.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.Excellent leadership and team management abilities.Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of Motorhome manufacturing processes and components is a plus.Summary of Tasks:Creating and analising the Material Requirement Planning reports.Responsible for all local purchasing of parts and other, for the factoryIssuing material buying list. Assist where neededAnalizing the bill of materials to ensure correctnessEnsuring timeously creating of all Jobs on the system.Responsible for preparing 30day supplier accounts payment documentsResponsible for preparing weekly COD supplier accounts payment documentsEnsuring continuous improvement in Syspro system and proceduresInvoicing of internal, intercompany transactions.Researching and report back on general administration queriesLiasing with Stores department on matters of BOM, stock takes, efficiencies and improvements.Scheduling,planning and issuing parts like, Sandwhich panels, GRP parts, etc.PPE - ordering and distributionNew Vehicle Registrations, incl 21day permitsArrange all necessary steps and documents for Homologation of new vehicles.Ensure upkeep of all internal vehicle document records, from chassis reciept to invoicingResponsible for coordinating and all annual regulation audits.
