These jobs were popular with other job seekersNational Retailer invites applications for Retail / Merchandising Planners, based in Durban North.Duties & ResponsibilitiesDutiesPartnered with the buyer to achieve a product strategy to gain maximum profitability.Manage alongside the buyer your given OTB.Analyses your product category sales weekly.Creation of product orders.Liaise with suppliers regarding new products and ordering of stock.Develop product strategy with the buyer to ensure targets were met.Identify new products in industry and compile a costing for these products taking all costsectors into account.Liaise with the shipping department closely to ensure shipments were received on timeand to avoid any delays.Liaise with the warehouse departments to ensure that goods are received and the is an efficient flow of goods into and out of the warehouse into our stores on a timely manner.Review slow moving stock and develop on sales strategies.Extract & analyze financial KPI's & product performance against set plan by subdepartment season, category & sub-category.Compile a draft report highlighting all issues that have impacted performance.Lead a discussion to develop an action plan that will maximize salAchieve a product strategy plans to gain maximum profitability.Strategic management of stock within a portfolio while producing accurate figures for analysis.Review and analyze the work produced Responsible for controlling the budget and managing of the supply chain to timeously and correctly delivery stock.Responsible for achieving 55% of Division Sales.Forecasting of Yearly Sales.Forecasting Quarterly of Product buys.Analysis of product category past sales as well as current market and customer profile to assist in future buying decisions.Build the initial assortment planReview of product orders.Liaise with suppliers regarding new products and ordering of stock.Develop product strategy with the Buyer to ensure targets are met.Identify new products in industry and compile a costing for those products taking all cost sectors into account.Review slow moving stock and develop on sales strategies.Liaise with the Area Managers regarding updates of products and solutions to general queries.Send out monthly stock cover and store performance reports to the product and operations team.Conduct Store Visits to review store performances as well as to ensure that merchandise is being displayed correctly.Reporting on new and existing stores to track performance and sales Stores.Desired Experience & Qualification3 - 5 years solid merchandise planning experience in retailStrong analytical and financial skillsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Ability to handle pressure and multiple deadlinesLiving in DurbanOwn car and drivers licensePackage & RemunerationNegotiable ctcThese jobs were popular with other job seekers#J-18808-Ljbffr
